Thoughts From The Sick Bed!

Well, this has taken too long given the assurance on my last post. But when you join work after a break of 2 weeks you're bound to be heaped with a lot of work as your welcome.
So, I am all fine and recovered but still popping pills because I want to finish those chocolates I received as 'get well soon' formalities. (I need to eat something sweet after every pill).

So as I said, I've a lot to talk, rather share on my unpleasant experience on the white sheeted beds of the hospital. While I got quiet emotional earlier in this I try to be funny but end up being sick just how I was- sick. (Note: TRY). The sense of humour wasn't in its best place being the carrier placed in a cubic corner of an ICU. But these are the random thoughts I came up with, along with a rush to laugh at myself. Some of them might be witty ok, give me that benefit of doubt. I deserve that much at least, come on!

So that announcement of Dengue had everyone asking me Where did you go to meet that effing mosquito? To them- "It wasn't exactly a date you know. We never planned on meeting this way!"
How? How would I know where the mosquito came from?!! I heard some buzzing around me which sounded like, "Tum mujhe khoon do, me tumhe Dengue dunga!"

Next up!
After the disease I've come to a conclusion that Odomos can actually be an effective moisturizer. Haha, too bad. But then when I've to be braced against that proboscis of the creature, I didn't have much faith in Lakme or VLCC.

I think it is high time that someone starts manufacturing Vodka in 'Coconut Water' flavour. Bright idea right? I see great business happening. Start packaging coconut water in Romanov fancy bottle, it could still sell (only for patients). It would also give some (read as lot) happiness to the young patients who are caught up in the malaria-typhoid-dengue-jaundice cycle of diseases.

It gives you a makeover. Other than looking pale and haggard, you also start behaving yourself. Like you will not eat junk on which you earlier kinda survived. You'll not go out on weekends and get yourself stamped 'boredom' on your forehead. Spinach tastes awesome. Also without working out you lose out on the weight. Congratulations!

Papaya is the new Mango. Papaya and its utterly bitter leaves are apparently the most effective cure for Dengue. I never ate it before, in sickness I'd to imagine it as a Mango and slurp on it. The fruit got so much value in my life!

Admission in hospital guarantees intravenous supply. Roughly taking 3 bottles of glucose with other infused injections everyday I have got a high! And it is dangerous. Alcohol could've been better. Why else would I be writing such crap?
But if you'll have still read this, you're my fan! :P
