Crackerjack Or Lemon?

We all have a baggage to us. Some may seem to be getting it all easy but it is just an outside perception which usually blinds us to the person’s actual struggles. Everyone has some failure experience to them. Be it in a grade or a business or even a relationship. What is more difficult than the failure is the impression others create of us; the labels that get attached. “Oh, tu toh fail hogaya” or “you’re such a fail” are commonly hurled at us in jest or purpose. Little do they realize its implications.

The word ‘fail’ itself demotivates me. Why can’t a different or a subtler term be used for me? Yes, I didn’t clear my semester, nor did my relationship work? Does that give you the right to brand me with such negation?

Well, how about we replace the term? Can we just say someone was not prepared for it? It makes accepting and swallowing the unsuccessful endeavor easier.  It is offering support to someone who needs it right now. Don’t preach with quotes, just don’t use the term failure for them, it will help. Some here may say that If you accept the failure only then you’ll do better. Agreed. But when I get called the F-word I feel like abusing the fuck out of it!

There are times when we are so discouraged that we just feel like being enclosed into our room, not facing anyone. Recluse. Hopelessness creeps in, gloominess becomes a comfort. “You’re such a failure” keeps echoing. The red line on that sheet of paper bothers you so much that you began to measure your self-worth by it. We do not even realise how much mentally we are corroding ourselves. More of it is because we are being branded as ‘Fail’. So here is a group who is trying to bring about this change. Just remember you’ll reach where you want to if you’re honest with yourself. Don’t take the branded failure to heart. Replace the word. To end it without anymore preaching I’d just say “Success consists of going from failure to failure without lack of enthusiasm.
