Author Search

I am so fascinated by writing lately that I am looking to settle with an author. His words will be enough to convince this adamant female. His writing will be a magic as his pen or feather will be a wand. You'll get the idea right? Here I write a short poem for him who hopefully exists somewhere. Once again an unconscious effort of the mind. 

I'm in search of an author; He will be mine full-time,

If I become his poem, with me he will rhyme.

He will learn new words to describe me,

And he will be better than anyone could be.

When the feather reaches the ink-pot I’ll be eager,

His writings for me will never be meagre.

He will paint me a portrait with all his words,

That can be understood only by literature nerds.

I’ll be his subject but the topics will differ,

His vocabulary will become my favourite dictionary to refer.

His criticism will also make me love myself,

Reminiscing the times I was just being my own self.

His profound words will make me think,

The same thought process his words will link.

I'm in search of that author with handsome looks,

Together we'll write the best-selling books.

Even he leaves me I’ll possess his writings,

In my bad times they’ll keep me enticing.
