A Harsh Truth

Some realizations will never make you happy,
Some revelations will never keep things the same,
Some secrets when unveiled will break you,
And so some secrets will never be shared.

All these deal with the Truth.
A Truth which was never meant to be known, which was always bitter.
A Truth which is always hard to face and harder to accept. And it’ll always be.

Today we are not conditioned to acceptance but easy ignorance. You hear the truth; you are sure about the truthfulness beneath the statement but pull over a face of skepticism and walk ahead.
Facing the truth nowadays becomes more difficult because lies are easily accessible. Lie also is a delayed truth but with a skewed approach. Something which is pleasing to your ears and mind becomes easier for you to believe in. If people around you know what pleases you can be believed into anything. Thus a momentary truth is a suspended lie!

So if you do not want to be grabbed into furtive talks and later find yourself in trouble, I suggest you become a lie detector. If you have been following some episodes of ‘Lie to Me’ may be you’ll get a hint. On the other hand, also be careful when you are about to lie to someone.
I got a text some days back- “sometimes people lie to you because you are more precious than the truth”. Well, I think that if you are so important then you deserve to know the truth than to be engulfed in a story where someone else is being framed.

Next time you think of avoiding a consequence by lying to someone (close to you), think about the latter. I am not being a propagator of truth here because even I have lied at times. Why? I know it is harsh. But over time I need to be strong enough to face it, deal with it, shove away my skepticism and walk ahead with pride.

Because, A lie never took an issue so far had you spilt out the truth. Yes I made that statement. :)
